Frequently Asked Questions
It is the player's choice to roleplay in Ithzkaia, and it's completely optional. You don't have to play there if you don't want to, but since it's a rather major part of the site plot, it's encouraged.
1. Who can end up in Ithzakaia? Who can you end up in Ithzakaia with?
Anybody. 2. How do you get to Ithzakaia?
It's as if you poofed there from your previous location. The character has no sense of traveling, as if you were in one location in one moment and in another the next. 3. Where do you end up?
Where the character ends up in Ithzakaia is completely up to the player. If you decide to put your character through the Isles Inferno, however, you must start with Achlathan, the first Isle. 4. Do you have to do the places in order? Do you have to do them all?
In what order you choose to do them is up to you, but generally, for the main locations, it goes one location per trip to Ithzakaia. Your character can return as many times as you, the player, would like, but as before, it's optional, and you don't have to come back. However, there are some exceptions to this rule, the main one being the Isles Inferno. If you decide to put your character through the Isles, you must start with Achlathan, the first Isle, and progress in order through all seven of them until you end up in Ysthanaan, the last one. 5. What happens in Ithzkaia?
Outside of sunshine and rainbows, whatever you really want. Generally, it's a whole lot of mental torture, complete with hallucinations and quite a bit of emotional instability. 6. How do you get out of Ithzakaia?
To put it quite simply, you die. However, you don't actually die, you just wake up from a really scary dream. Which isn't really a dream. Your character won't know this, however, and they'll think it's real. Which it is. Once the character dies in Ithzakaia, a copy of them is kept on the planet, while they go straight back to where they came from, having not even been gone for a nanosecond. Their corpse is put into the Marsh, where it becomes one of the many zombies roaming there, and their spirit is sent to the Lighthouse, where it is doomed to make travelers recall their last moments until the end of time. Or the planet. Whichever one comes first. 7. What does your character remember when they get out?
Your character will think of their time in Ithzakaia as a rather vivid nightmare, perfect to be pushed into the back of one's mind, but never be truly forgotten. 8. Who's responsible for this?
The reason for the planet's existence is to make Zakhraet fat. Being a shape shifting, reality bending creature that feeds off the negative emotions of a being's psyche, he brings people to his specially crafted planet to incite the negative emotions he feeds off of. He handpicks people to torture and feed off of, even though he can simply snack on the emotions of people down on Earth, but that's all they really are: a snack. Bringing someone to Ithzakaia is like having a three course meal. 9. Can you roleplay with him?
YES. Zakhraet is waiting for any brave soul who dares to enter his Fortress. The doors are unlocked, and the way upstairs is clearly marked. Stop by and have a chat sometime, won't you? If you have any other questions that are not answered here, feel free to post in this thread asking your question. A staff member will get back to you shortly. Thank you!
